The Milano Sake Challenge, held annually in Milan since 2019, celebrates the harmony between sake and Italian cuisine, judged by Italian sommeliers and culinary experts across Tasting, Food Pairing, and Design categories.

KODAKARA YUZU Wins Gold Medal at CINVE 2025
【TATENOKAWA, Inc】Seiryu(Stream) Wins Gold at Sélections Mondiales des Vins 2024
We are proud to share the exciting news that Tatenokawa Junmai Daiginjo Seiryu has been awarded a Gold Medal at the prestigious Sélections Mondiales des Vins 2024, held in Montreal this October.
This year’s competition brought together entries from 31 countries, featuring over 1,630 wines. For the first time, a dedicated “Sake” section was introduced, showcasing 84 Japanese sake brands. Amidst this highly competitive field, Tatenokawa Seiryu stood out, achieving an impressive score of 91/100 and earning its place as a Gold Medal winner.
The judges provided the following tasting comments that highlight the unique qualities of Tatenokawa Seiryu:
“Enjoy the bold frank acidity with delightful hints of muscat grape and cotton candy, elegantly finishing with notes of green apple and honeysuckle.”
We are deeply honored by this recognition and will continue to craft exceptional sake that embodies the spirit of Japanese tradition and innovation.
